The Dane County Humane Society strives to build connections between animals and humans, develop safe communities for animals, provide care and transitional sheltering for animals, and provide guidance to the community. DCHS provides multiple opportunities for the community to get involved or donate and is always looking for new ways to bring in different people. Wild Dash gives the active community an event to participate in while supporting DCHS. The Wild Dash website and social media posts promoting the runner swag will bring in new community involvement to DCHS.
